MR MIXOLOGIST TERMS & CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions are applicable to all contracts for the provision of services to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions. Booking confirmations made verbally or in writing are subject to these terms and conditions. Please read the following terms and conditions of sale carefully before ordering service from Mr Mixologist. By purchasing service from Mr Mixologist, as the client you agree to these terms of sale. These terms do not replace or affect your statutory rights.
All quotations (verbal or written) will be valid for three days from the date of enquiry. Mr Mixologist cannot guarantee that the date will be available after these three days.
To confirm and hold an Adult’s party booking, the client must provide a £25 non-refundable deposit by electronic transfer (BACS). The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event unless a Payment plan has been set up. Mr Mixologist Adult parties are for a minimum of 8 persons, if your party is under the minimum persons you will be charged for the minimum group size 8 × TIER PRICE.
To confirm and hold a Children’s party booking, the client must provide a £25 non-refundable deposit by electronic transfer (BACS). The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event unless a Payment plan has been set up. Mr Mixologist Children’s parties are for a minimum of 10 persons, if your party is under the minimum persons you will be charged for the minimum group size 10 × TIER PRICE.
To confirm a booking for Consultancy, the client must provide a 25% non-refundable deposit of the total package cost, either in cash, by electronic transfer (BACS). The remaining balance is to be paid within the 14 days after work has been completed.
All purchases of items will require full payment of the date of order, unless otherwise agreed by Mr Mixologist and the required deposit is paid. Items bought from Mr Mixologist are subject to damage when transported and all items bought are damage free on the point of exchange and cannot be refunded or exchanged once they leave Mr Mixologist. Refunds may be given for damage if the item has been posted or delivered by Mr Mixologist but damages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
In the event of a cancellation, Mr Mixologist requires notice in writing 14 days before the date of the event. Failure to do so will result in full payment being charged. Booking deposits are not transferable or refundable unless otherwise agreed prior to booking and stated in writing.
There can be only one voucher per booking. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The type of package your voucher is valid with can be seen written on the voucher, if not stated then your voucher may be used against any package Mr Mixologist, unless otherwise stated on the package. Vouchers that have been won at charitable/community events can only be used by the named person who won. Vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other offer If you would like to place a booking that is worth more than your voucher amount, you can pay for the difference via bank transfer or PayPal at the time of booking. If the voucher is worth more than the booking, the difference will not be refunded and cannot be applied to a future booking; therefore if you do not use the entire voucher amount, the difference will be lost. The voucher that is being used must be presented at the time of booking either in person or photographic evidence sent.
Mr Mixologist does not provide a paid bar service and therefore has no involvement for any licensing matters and is not responsible for any breaches of licence.
In the event that parking is required by Mr Mixologist adequate arrangements must be made by the client. In circumstances where Mr Mixologist is providing cocktail ingredients and glassware, adequate loading facilities must be provided by the client. Mr Mixologist will not be held responsible for any difficulties with this that result in delays to service.
Rates and invoices are subject to change without notice depending on client's requirements, additional hours and stock. Additional hours requested by the client by negotiation with Mr Mixologist at the time of the event will be charged at the full hourly rate of £25 for home cocktail parties only. Additional hours requested by the client having the consultancy service will be charged at the full hourly rate of £95. Cocktail Tasting from the consultancy service will be charged for the supply of alcohol and glassware at the cost price and delivery of each product needed and must be paid 1 week prior to tasting in order to ensure enough stock is available. Staff Training will be charged at a reasonable price agreed between Mr Mixologist and the client at the time of booking and will be added to the basic charge. Bank holiday charges apply on bank holiday Sunday and Monday £30 charge.
Full payment of invoice is due to Mr Mixologist within 3 days of invoice for home parties and events. Any outstanding payments after this time will be taken as a cancelled party and will not be fulfilled unless an agreement has been made prior.
In the event that Mr Mixologist is not able to provide services as agreed due to circumstances out of their control (such as weather, transport problems etc), they will not be held liable for any loss, cancellation or delay.
Mr Mixologist does not accept any responsibility for the overall success of an event.
The above conditions are subject to change at the discretion of Mr Mixologist in part or in whole for one or more of its clients where the company has grounds deemed necessary.
